Simultaneously, their high school-aged kids wanted a gathering spot to hang out with friends and play video games. To fulfill these needs, we conceived a custom-built unit abundant in storage for gaming devices and board games. Additionally, we incorporated nesting cocktail tables to provide ample space for snacks. Departing from the traditional overstuffed loungers, we introduced motorized recliners that combine the aesthetics of a sectional with the functionality of a recliner, eliminating any disputes over the favored seat in the house. For privacy and room darkening, motorized roman shades were installed, while carefully chosen art pieces were displayed to symbolize something meaningful to each family member.
