Laura Abrams

Founder & Creative Director

Laura studied interior design at Florida State University and received a Post-Graduate Specialization in Interior Design at the Interior Design Institute in Milan, Italy.
She has worked abroad in London and completed projects across North America, including Toronto, Miami Beach, Telluride, Hilton Head, and throughout Southern California.

As the firm’s lead designer and creative director, Laura oversees every project from concept to completion, ensuring each space reflects her signature balance of livable comfort and refined design.
By the age of 29, Laura was named one of South Florida’s Top 100 Design Visionaries by Florida International Magazine.  Laura has continued to be recognized for design excellence through ASID, HGTV, and several design publications.

Laura and her husband, son, daughter, and rescue dog, Archie,  reside in Carmel Valley, where she is dedicated to creating homes that elevate the everyday experience for her clients.

Kiley Van Alstyne

Associate Designer

Kiley joined Laura Abrams Design in 2023 and serves as an Associate Designer.
She earned her Bachelor of Science from San Diego State University and later pursued interior design studies at San Diego Mesa College.

Working closely with Laura, Kiley plays an integral role in project execution, supporting every phase of the design process from material sourcing to detailed documentation and client coordination.
Her organization, precision, and professionalism help ensure each project runs seamlessly and reflects the firm’s high standards for design and service.
